SAP Mobile Lead Developer

Main purpose

The SAP Mobile Lead Developer will be responsible for timely delivery of high-quality mobile solutions . As a key member of the Mobile Development Team, design and develop develop MDK applications for the end user to interact with business processes and their tasks through the use of Mobile Development Kit.  In addition, the SAP Mobile Lead Developer is expected to perform design and QA reviews for mobile development delivered by the development team and ensure strict adherence to the Global mobile development process.

The SAP Mobile Lead Developer will also assist the mobile development team in forward-looking technical planning activities, such as design guidelines and best practices that will aid the factory in delivering solutions adhering to the set standards and guidelines.

The role is a hands-on role wherein the SAP Mobile Lead Developer may get involved with the actual  build of solutions under certain conditions driven by business need and/or solution complexity.   

Accountabilities

• Conduct technical design and code reviews for SAP MDK development.
• Develop MDK applications Apps & enhancements.
• SAP Asset Manager Implementation
• Enhancing the functionality of SAP Asset Manager
• Defining/implementing new process with SAP BTP Mobile Services
• Work with the Management to:
• prioritize development activities and
• enforce application development Service Level Agreement (SLAs) with the development team.
• Ensure adherence to the architecture standards and principles during the development.
• Coordinate and manage mdk-related issues during Unit testing and Integration testing phases of the project.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of hands on experience with web and mobile technologies: HTML5, Javascript, CSS, JQuery, REST based APIs (JSON and XML), OData, Apache Cordova
• 2 years of Strong experience in BTP topics of Mobile Services/MDK and S/4HANA is a must requirement.
• Knowledge of SAP Asset Manager, SAP Work Manager apps configuration
• Knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance Module
• Knowledge of SOLMAN Release Management process
• Knowledge of BAS tool to develop MDK applications
• Experience in OData / REST protocols
• Knowledge of SOLMAN Release Management process

• Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements
